Spear Fishing Diver Specialty

The Spear Fishing Specialty course teaches you about spear fishing equipment, hunting techniques and to hunt safely. To take the class you'll need to be at least a certified PADI Open water diver or an equivalent rating, be 18 years old, and have a valid Florida Saltwater Fishing License.

• You'll make 2 dives  in one day.

• You will learn about the operations of a standard spear gun and practice shooting targets underwater.

•  Learn to identify fish species that are legal in size by body shape and name.

•  Become familiar with Florida State fishing laws and size requirements.

• You are permitted to take home the fish you spear.

• Classes are taught by Pavan, PADI Course Director and Owner of Dixie Divers.

Course price is $150.00 This  includes boat charter, 2 tanks and certification fees.  Diver must supply their own spear gun.

Completion of this Specialty course can count toward your requirements to earn the PADI Master Scuba Diver Rating.
