The Advanced Open Water Diver program offers you a structured program where you gain additional experience and skills under the direct guidance of a PADI professional.

During the course you will get to explore some of diving's top adventures and receive high quality academic training in these areas by one of our professional instructors, You will complete two “core” dives, a Deep Dive (30m/100ft) and a Navigation dive. On top of that, you can choose three more adventure dives that interest you the most or why not combine diving with an existing skill or interest! Dixie Divers offers a wide range of fun and exciting Adventure Dives in some of the best dive sites of South Florida.

PADI’s Advanced Open Water Diver program has something for everyone. This in-water, performance based program includes a total of five dives from the following list:

If you’re 15 or older, and a PADI Open Water Diver or equivalent, then you’re ready for the Advanced Open Water Diver program. Or, if you’re between the ages of 12 and 14, there’s the PADI Junior Advanced Open Water Diver or Junior Advanced Plus programs. The Junior programs are available if you are a PADI Junior Open Water Diver or equivalent certification.

After successfully completing the course, you'll receive the PADI Advanced Open Water Diver certification. This allows you to participate in more advanced diving activities with a maximum recommended depth limit of 30 meters / 100 feet, in addition to the qualifications listed for PADI Open Water Divers.
