Deep Diver

The IANTD Deep Diver Program trains divers in skills, performance, theory, and planning of deep dives. This program remains within the commonly practiced depth of 130 fsw.

Prerequisites : Must be certified advanced open water; must provide proof of a minimum of 10 logged dives;18 years or 15 with a parent or guardian authorization.

Program Contents : Includes a minimum of 100 minutes of OW bottom time completed within 4 to 6 dives, 2 of which must be to depths between 100 and 130 fsw.

Advanced EANx Diver

This program is designed to extend the diver’s knowledge in the use of EANx for sport diving. It further develops diving skills and provides a greater understanding of the EANx concept of diving.

Prerequisites : Must be qualified as an IANTD EANx Diver and Deep Diver with proof of a minimum of 15 logged dives; or provide proof of experience as a deep diver with a minimum of 50 logged dives of which at least 10 dives were between 90 and 130 fsw; 18 years or 15 with a parent or guardian authorization.

Program Content : Includes a minimum of 120 minutes of OW bottom time completed within 4 dives, 2 of which must be to depths between 100 and 130 fsw. Students are taught the use of EANx from 21% to 40% oxygen for diving. EANx mixtures in the range of 41% to a maximum of 50% oxygen are used to teach the fundamentals of safety and decompression stops.

PRICE: Advanced EANx Diver $300.

Overhead Environment Diver 

This program is designed to develop wreck and cavern diving skills within the limits of light penetration and to insure that divers are aware of self-responsibility and capable of risk management in overhead environments.

Prerequisites : Must be advanced open water; Must provide proof of a minimum of 10 logged dives; 18 years of age or 15 years of age with parent or guardian authorization.

Program Content : A continuous guideline that allows for a safe exit to the entrance will be in place at all times during training in a overhead environment. A minimum of 90 minutes of bottom time must be completed in the overhead environment within 4 to 6 dives. Land drills: a)Use of guide lines; b)Following guide line with and without vision; c) Simulation of silt-out, etc.

PRICE: Overhead Environment Diver $200

Introductory Cave Diver

This program is designed to provide an introduction to the cave diving environment for sport divers.

Prerequisites : Must be qualified as an IANTD Overhead Environment Diver or equivalent qualification. Must provide proof of a minimum of 25 logged dives, 18 years of age or 15 years of age with parent or guardian authorization.

Program Content : A continuous guideline that allows for a safe exit at the entrance will be in place at all times during training in a cave. A minimum of 90 minutes of bottom time must be completed in caves within 4 to 6 dives. Land Drills a) Use of guide lines b) Following guide lines with and without vision. c) Lost diver procedure
