Normoxic Trimix Diver

This program is designed to train those who wish to dive to depths between 130 and 200fsw but do not wish to breathe air below 130fsw. Trimix affords a means of reducing narcosis on dives to such depths.

Prerequisites : Must be qualified as an IANTD Advance EANx Diver. Must provide proof of a minimum of 100 logged dives, of which at least 30 were deeper than 90 fsw. Must be 18 years of age. 

OR

Must be a qualified IANTD EANx diver or equivalent. Must provide proof of a minimum of 150 logged dives, of which 50 were deeper than 90 fsw. Must be 18 years of age.

Program Content : Includes a minimum of three air or EANx or Normoxic gas diluent dives in OW to depths not to exceed 130 fsw. Includes a minimum of 3 dives on trimix using one gas switch. These dives may be performed at depths between 130 and 200 fsw. This program must include a minimum of 300 minutes of run time.

Wreck and Technical Wreck Diver

This program is designed to train divers in safe wreck penetration diving and the technical utilization of EANx for wreck exploration and the use of EANX and oxygen for decompression.

Prerequisites : Must be qualified as an IANTD Deep Diver . For Technical wreck diver program, must also be qualified as an IANTD EANx diver. Must provide proof of a minimum of 70 logged dives, or a minimum of 40 logged dives with qualification as IANTD Overhead Environment Diver. Must be a minimum of 18 years of age.

Program Content : Includes a minimum of 150 minutes of bottom time completed with in 6 wreck penetration dives. Land drills; a) Basic use of safety lines and reels will be performed on land and b) Simulation of wire entanglement will be practised.

PRICE: Technical Wreck Diver  $800.

Price includes books and certification fees. Price does not include boat fees, equipment, tank fills

ABOUT YOUR INSTRUCTOR

Larry Mullins has been diving for 30 years, from the mountain lakes of Colorado to the walls of Cayman. For the last 15 years, he has certified over 500 students in his professional diving career. Larry brings to the sport a natural curiosity about, and healthy respect for, the power of the underwater environment. As a teacher, he also brings a quiet, patient attitude and the strong desire to share his love of the underwater world with his students. In additions to being an IANTD Instructor, Larry's a PADI Master Instructor, recently celebrating 15 years with the agency.
