Angels in America a documentary

Recently on 5/8/05 Dixie Divers hosted a premier group of German journalists doing a documentary on angels.

    “Angels in America a documentary” a film in progress from Yoash Tatari is produced by Konrad Edge in association with “A RD” one of the largest television production companies in Europe. Along with their cameraman Rainer Hoffmann these three film makers enjoyed some South Floridian sunshine and a nice day out on our beautiful reefs to document some common beliefs about angels in today’s society.

   The journalists were hosted by Dixie Divers owned by Arilton Pavan and his staff who were interviewed and filmed as the divers went down to the site of Angels’ Reef in 40ft of water just off Deerfield Beach. This is a special site for Dixie Divers as Mr. Pavan and his staff placed the two angel statues as an artificial reef project in July 2002.

    Manny Carrera a student of Dixie Divers and a participant in the 2002 sinking of the Angels was hired to film the underwater side to show off the beautiful results Mother Nature has had with growing all of the life on the angels. All the divers had a great time diving and being interviewed. We can’t wait for the film to come out and invite you to look for it in the near future.
