Fellow Diver , as many you know, the Miracle Of Life wreck was sunk successfully at noon on June 6, 2009, approximately one mile out and slightly north of the Deefied Beach pier. The sinking went off without a hitch and the ship rests upright in 140 fsw. Unfortunately, our dear friend, and the founder of the Miracle Of Life Foundation, Daniel Fasano, passed away just three days after the sinking. A beautiful and moving memorial celebration was held on the 12th and many of Dan's family members and friends were in attendance to celebrate the remarkable life of this kind and generous man. We'll miss you Dan.

Come dive the Miracle Of Life, a 170' ft vessel, sunk on June 6 right off of our very own Deerfield Beach. The ship sits upright in 140 feet of water, with the main deck at 125 feet and the wheelhouse roof at 100 feet. This is an interesting time for this wreck because it is new and hasn't had the time to develop growth yet. You'll be able track the wreck's development and watch the miracle of life unfold. Dixie Divers will be diving this wreck on Sunday afternoon, June 21st. If you can't make the dive on Sunday, Saturday the 20th, we are heading to the Jim Atria for our aftenoon trip. While diving on our boat Lady Go, Diver Divemaster  Sander Sousa came across two octopuses matting. For most of us this is a rare occasion to see, even more so to catch on video. So you can imagine the excitement Sander felt while videoing the two octopuses. They were about ½ mile east of Deerfield Beach on the Angles Reef.

Level I Freediver students typically come to the Program having relative comfort in the water, but limited or no experience with basic equipment or with breath-hold diving. Many have encountered ear pressure difficulties or other problems which have held them back in the past. The F.I.I. Level I Freediver Program is a 2-day course designed to introduce swimmers and snorkelers to the skills required to move below the surface. Freedive safely, comfortably and confidently to maximum depths of 66 feet (20 meters).

guest. Lodging is within walking distance of the
beach, dive shop and the dive boat ( Lady Go Diver).
For only $20.00 a person per day, (max two tenants). One a day, two days, three days or weekly rentals are available (max three weeks). The studio furnished with bunk bed, microwave, refrigerator and small stove. Studio also has tiled flooring, a/c and bathroom (shower). All linens are supplied. Reservation required, first come first served.
