Steel scuba cylinders from Worthington Cylinders

Dixie Divers offers high and low pressure steel cylinders from Worthington Cylinders. All steel cylinders from Sea Pearls include a Thermo Pro-valve and boot. Thermo Pro-valves are designed for use with both yoke and DIN style regulators.

These cylinders are made at Worthington's state of the art manufacturing facility in Tilbury, Canada. Worthington manufactures these cylinders using a deep-drawn method forming the cylinder from plate steel resulting in a light weight cylinder with excellent buoyancy characteristics.

LP-Series, Low pressure cylinders are available now and the X-Series, high pressure cylinders are scheduled for release late third quarter 2005.

    Durable, Long-lasting
    • Premium quality steel scuba cylinders made from deep drawn chrome molybedenum steel plate.
Hot dipped galvanized and White powder coat exterior finish
    • The LP7 85 and LP8 108 sport a new hot dipped galvanized exterior and when available all X-Series cylinders will also have this premium hot dipped galvanized exterior finish.
    • All other LP-Series cylinders have a white powder coating. This finish is applied by first coating the exterior of the cylinder with zinc and then baking on a white powder coat final finish for years of great looking corrosion resistance.
    Nine sizes
    • Five X-Series high pressure and four low pressure LP-Series sizes to choose from.
    Two diameters
    • Cylinders are 7.25 or 8 inches in diameter. Choose the size to meet your needs.
    Nitrox ready
    • Nitrox-ready: Cylinders are specially prepared at the factory for use with oxygen-enriched air mixtures. (It is the responsibility of the cylinder owner to maintain this suitability, including using only Nitrox-compatible components in the steel cylinders in oxygen-enriched service.)
