Along with the diving instruction, the scuba campers will also gain medical first aid training, known as Primary and Secondary Care - earning a total of 2 certifications! Camp hours are Monday through Friday from 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM daily with full time instruction and supervision. Limited space available. Day to Day Schedule:
Day 1: Classroom - lunch - pool session w/ advanced skills Day 2: AOW Dives (wreck and drift) - lunch - classroom Day 3: AOW Dives (search & recovery and navigation) - lunch - start First Aid class Day 4: AOW Dives (deep and "fun dive") - lunch - finish First Aid class Day 5: Fun dive - lunch - pool party! At the end of either scuba camp, the camper will have two certifications: PADI Open Water or PADI Advanced Open Water with the PADI Medic First Aid and CPR certification. The cost of each course is $749 and includes: your student kit (course materials and logbook), use of our scuba tanks, regulators, buoyancy compensator (BCD), wetsuits and your open water dives off our boat, The Lady Go Diver, along with full time supervision and instruction. **Boat Dives subject to change due to weather or other unforeseen circumstances. Please come in to the shop to purchase and fit gear prior to arriving to camp, please have gear prepared and ready for use for the first day of camp! In order to start the course, students must have their own quality scuba mask, fins, snorkel, safety marker, spool, weights, weight belt, and dive boots.
